POK also works to serve the latter well upstream by supplying firefighting trucks manufacturers, adapting its products to various vehicle models for very particular applications. These range from so-called “standard” products such as hosereels, signal trolleys, ladder-supported nozzle that allow fire soldiers to reach fires on upper floors, valves, telescopic poles, etc.
Recently, POK has implemented more complex products requiring closer collaboration with the manufacturer. These are remote-controlled monitors that are located either on the roof or on the bumper of vehicles. These are operated and controlled from the cabin of the truck itself, by an operator who can also be the driver of the vehicle. On a touch screen, the operator controls from his seat, the flows, the positioning of the stream, and the movements of the monitor on site and in azimuths.
These products are very sophisticated, integrating complex but reliable control systems allowing great ease of use. For the Fire Brigade, this saves time and makes it possible to control the entire system from the cabin with joysticks and fingertips.
